great location but limited amenities
The check-in process was smooth, and the staff provided excellent guidance about the hotel facilities. The small double room I stayed in was exceptionally clean and offered a pleasant view of the gardens.
While the location was ideal, the hotel lacked some standard amenities that could enhance the stay.

The Royal offers an excellent location close to both the beach and the town center, making it convenient for business and leisure. The building exudes historical charm, and I found the peaceful lawn area perfect for unwinding after meetings. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep.
Some staff members could be more courteous.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, especially at reception, making for a warm welcome. The spacious room had a comfortable bed and was well-stocked with tea and coffee. However, the reception experience was lacking, and the parking situation was frustrating due to poor signage and limited space. Outside dining options were plentiful, but the lack of on-site dining flexibility was a downside.

Great Place for Couples Looking for Charm
Had a lovely experience overall. The breakfast was one of the best hot buffets I’ve had in a while, and the staff were genuinely attentive! Made everything a breeze.
Sure, it wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but still totally acceptable for the experience we had.

We had a fantastic stay exploring the nearby park, complete with stunning greenery and trails. The kids loved the family-friendly amenities, and the beach was just a short walk away. Plus, the lounge area was perfect for relaxing together after a busy day.
In my wife’s opinion, it would be great to have more kid-friendly dining options available.

This charming hotel boasts a fantastic location near the beach and pier, but the outdated rooms and confusing parking fees left much to be desired. While the staff were generally friendly and helpful, the overall experience didn't live up to expectations for the price paid.
